This is a full day trip to the Thai/Cambodia border. It is the last battle field between the Cambodian army and the Khmer Rouge. You will visit the grave of Pol Pot, his house, the homes of other key leaders like Ta Mok and other related, significant historical sites. You will get insights into the daily life of former Khmer Rouge soldiers and their families living in this place. You will deepen your understanding of what justice means in Cambodia.

    • Places include – Ta Mok House(Head quarter of Khmer Rouge, Pol Pot grave, landmine museum

At 6:00am your guide will pick you up from your hotel. You can have your packed breakfast from the hotel or you can eat Cambodian breakfast style along the way. You and your guide will travel outside Siem Reap province to Anlong Veng near the Thai border. Your first stop will be Tamok House. It used to be the headquarters of the Khmer rouge. Your guide is a person who has been through that period of time. He will guide you around with his own experience. And you will go to see POL POT’s grave. Along the way back to Siem Reap you will see the Landmine museum. It gives you more understanding about the effect of landmines in Cambodia. Your guide and your driver will drop you off at your hotel or in town.
